Several days ago I’ve been asked to review the new Magento book from Packt Publishing – the “Magento 1.4 Development Cookbook”. As it’s quite busy time for me (going live with the project I worked on for the last several weeks) I didn’t have chance to read or even take a closer look at the content of this book. However from what I’ve already seen it looks like it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be – a book of recipes for the variety of different Magento usages. And it made me extremely curious to check what’s inside (especially in terms of Magento benchmarking/optimisation) – another thing added to todos list during so called “spare time”.
